Album Cover

For this project I was faced with choosing an album cover and recreating it, focusing on typography. I chose the album Swimming by Mac Miller as this album had no typographic elements. On both the front and back cover I used the element of repetition. On the front cover I used repetition on the title "Swimming". I also created a swirling design with the letters to represent the flow of water as a person may be quite literally swimming. On the back cover I used the repetition elements in the song titles. For the overall color scheme I chose to use the same color scheme used in the original album cover.
